![]() Magium is a text adventure game where you play as an ordinary guy trying to win a mage tournament against the most powerful mages in the world, in the hopes of winning the grand prize, and using it to fulfill your lifelong dream of becoming a mage yourself.Īs you progress, you will also get to know the inhabitants of the continent that the tournament takes place on, and you will learn that a person called the Creator established several utopias in this realm a few hundred years ago, where animals and humans could live in harmony, and where food was created through magic. If you feel that you might be spoiling an important plot point with a new thread, please tag the title as, , etc, and do not include any spoilers in the title. If you actually through all that, then thank you for reading all this, and tell me your opinions and suggestions. This subreddit may contain untagged spoilers of the Magium story, and you should be careful reading the threads here, if you aren't up to date with the latest chapters. They probably are pretty Rev-sided (Which would make sense, since I definitely enjoy that side more), but if we're being honest, in more than half of the games, the Revenant side just get completely destroyed with only one squad (if any at all) actually dying at the end. So yeah, these are the changes I'd make to improve the LTM. Just enough to feel noticeable, but not to strong. Maybe around half of an octane stim, or Bang passive. Because of this, I'd reduce the tactical cooldown to about 10 or 12 seconds, and give the red-eyed Revs a permanent small movement speed buff. You're easy to track, have a hard time keeping up with the other Revs, and more often than not, it feels like you've become the hunted, instead of the hunter, because that 7 man group over there would just love to take a closer look at your red Evo, Prowler, and Kraber. ![]() Currently playing as a red-eyed Revenant doesn't really feel that rewarding. 6: Multiple small buffs to the red-eyed Revenant. Increasing the total number of possible red-eyed Revs would give more players the chance to become one, as well as spread the pressure onto multiple Legend groups (Or the creation of a 3-man death squad lol). While the concept of the red-eyed Rev is amazing, having to wait for the current one to die, just so you might get the chance to become one (if you currently have the highest damage), is a bit dumb. ![]() 5: There can now be up to 3 Red-eyed Revenants at once. Doing this would both decrease the frustration of fighting against someone who got double purple Spitfire or L-Star off drop, and can just hold their fire button for 100+ rounds, as well as get players to use the still strong, but fairer, other weapons, like Scout, Triple Take, or shotguns in general. 4: Decrease the spawn rate of high LMGs, and Assault rifles. This would both reduce the times where 7 to 10 people are still able to be respawned, just because none of them are in an actual squad, and open up some fun 'revenge scenarios' when you're playing with friends. By limiting the times legends can be respawned, they would need to stick together more (which already ups their chances of surviving), all while the Revenants would still be rewarded for continuously picking off people.ģ: Once a Legend has died for the third time, they'll turn into a Revenant, even if the rest of their squad is still alive. Playing on Revenant's side can often feel somewhat unrewarding, with kills you, and others, fought tooth and nail for, just being respawned within the next minute. 2: All legends can only be respawned twice. By creating separate queues for both Legends, and Rev's army, we would get rid of the chance game that determines on which side you'll be playing, as well as the people who leave their games, because they didn't get to play on the side they wanted. I got some time, and while I doubt a Dev will ever see this, it pains me too much to see how much potential this LTM has, and how just a handful of changes could honestly turn it into a permanent weekend game mode, which is why I thought of a few changes that would (in my opinion) improve it.
